The Players Theatre Group was formed from a dancing school run by Pauline King at the beginning of the eighties and after 5 changes of venue, some sixty odd shows and over a thousand cast members, oh yes and thirty intervening years, she is still the Player’s producer.
Over the years many parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, cousins and aunts have quietly volunteered and dedicated their time, hard work and resources to ensuring that the next generation are given an opportunity to perform. An opportunity to stand on a stage, look out at an audience and tell a story. A frightening and life changing experience.
We thank them all.

Since then it has produced two shows a year; a musical show normally in June and our ever popular Christmas pantomime in January/February time.
